What is Therapin*y? Therapin*y is where ancestral healing and mental health services intersect. We are bridging the gap between therapists, healers, innovative mental health resources, and Filipino/a/x people around the world seeking support.

Our wellness fair prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity for all attendees, including those with disabilities and immunocompromised individuals. We've selected a wheelchair-accessible venue with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms, alongside clear signage. We strongly encourage all attendees to wear masks at the event to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone present. Masks will be available at the event. If you need accessibility assistance, please let us know in advance specifically what you need.

About Therapin*y Bay Area Chapter Lead: Christine R. Melendres, LCSW
Christine, Founder & CEO of Sweet Mango Therapy Group, specializes in supporting high-achieving BIPOC women, particularly Filipina/x/o and AAPI individuals, with issues like burnout and trauma. With over a decade of experience, she utilizes somatic approaches like Brainspotting in her practice. Actively involved in community work, Christine serves on the board of directors for FYLPRO and as Co-Coordinator of Mentorship for the Asian American Psychological Association Division on Filipinx Americans. In her free time, she enjoys family time, comedy shows, podcasts, yoga, and music.
